The Lincoln County Apple Festival: Takes place on the third Saturday in September. Entertainers danced, karate demos, tumbled, played music, and sang. Food vendors serve BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, tamales, corn on the cob, and apple pies drenched in caramel. Local apple growers sell their crops. Bring your best Apple Dish to compete in the "Battle of the Apple Dishes" and shop for crafts from local artisans.
