Asheville:

Beaver Lake:  a scenic, private 10-acre recreational lake and bird sanctuary in North Asheville, managed by the Lake View Park Commission. Open to the public for walking, fishing, and boating, it features a ~2-mile trail. Permits are required for dogs and fishing.



Atlantic Beach is a beautiful town situated on a barrier island, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Bogue Sound. We're known for our many public beaches and friendly atmosphere.
